Amazon and Bosch a perfect combination yet again. I purchased the secatuers for friends of mine, they report they are very satisfied with them indeed. Once again Amazon despatched very quickly.

I am a big fan of Bosch products but they got this one badly wrong. I had to return it for a refund. The trigger goes fully forward within the guard as you can see in the illustration. You need to fiddle around to get your finger in front of the trigger every time you put it down. The jaws sensibly limit the size of stem you are pruning but the blade only goes halfway along the length leaving the stem half cut through if you have not pushed the jaws completely up against the stem. Worst of all it wont cut dead stems that fit inside the jaws only fresh green stems. Finally it is pretty slow to complete the cut even fully charged. As I said I had to send it back and go back to my good old Felco Secateurs. This is the first Bosch product I have not been happy with.

fantastic product, takes all the effort and strain off hands when cutting small branches or pruning bushes. Great too for chopping garden rubbish to fit in recycling bins.

These secateurs do what they are supposed to do. A great boon for someone with arthritic thumbs or fingers

Positives: - Powerful - capable of cutting thick branches with great ease. - Very easy to use - Safety mechanism seems good - Battery powerful and lasts well Negatives - takes a littles time to get used to the holding position. Overall very useful, particularly good for anyone who has any wrist or arm problems, but a helping hand for all gardeners.
