Bosch AXT Rapid does a good job on both soft green foliage and up to 15mm thick woody prunings. Takes a while to feed through a bit at at time. Volume significantly reduced and put into compost bin. Far less trips to the tip as we landscape our new piece of woodland garden. Its not too noisy, it needs the wheels because its heavy to move around. Glad we got it.

I bought this shredder after reading reviews on Amazon and other retailers. The Bosch name, and this model in particular came up time after time with great reviews. Perhaps a few pounds more than some, but it does exactly what I want it to, with ease, efficiency and simplicity. Branches up to 40mm thick are gobbled with ease and cut to a fine mulch. Operation is simplicity itself with just one on/off/emergency stop button to worry about. The rest is just about feeding in your leaves and branches. This truly is a quality product. In future Bosch will be my first port of call when purchasing electrical products of this nature.

I must admit I wasn't totally convinced about this shredder. I've been disappointed before. Now after a couple times of use I am impressed. It a good answer for the average size garden. I don't know how I'll feel later on but up to now it is a cracker taking most of what I've fed through it. I'm still feeding stuff through because my garden is a mess. I've checked the blade and it's standing up very well.

Purchased this last Autumn and waited till now to comment. All I will say is ignore Wapping Richard and go with Computer Dave I've not owned a shredder before but this does the job. I researched quite a bit - particularly Amazon's reviews. And this shredder hasn't let me down. Huge bushes shredded in 10 mins and down to less than a full bag - which in itself mulches away in about 6 weeks. Haven't had to replace a blade or turn it round yet. P.s. who's now singing the Barry White Classic...
