Extremely efficient.
Of course it was better to make a movie and insert it here, but I have no movie and the words are very simple to talk about. Buy one to work at home and enjoy. You can do it yourself...YES you can!

Perfect gadget
Bought it to cut carpet tiles. Perfect tool, does exactly what it promised. Very happy indeed

Solid Piece of Kit
When I bought this tool wasn't sure what to use it for, then came all those nasty plastic packs you get around various tools and things, that if you try to open them with scissors you can cut yourself or dislocate something. This thing zips them open in no time with a minimum of effort. Oh it works fine on large thick cardboard boxes too. A thoroughly useful piece of kit (every home should have one. I suggest a previous reviewer tries again there is nothing wrong with this tool.

More than expected
I cut into pieces the shell my son had on broken arm. It was not easy but this plastic shell is quite rigid. I can recommend usage is wider than expected.

Not a Universal Cutter, but a pretty useful tool non-the-less
I original bought the 'universal' cutter because I wanted to accurately cut some carpet ... and wanted something that would produce a better and more accurate result that my previous attempts with a Stanley Knife. I tried the 'cutter' on 2 grades of carpet, the first, a wool carpet with a fabric backing worked fine ... if a little slow. I knew that I was pushing it a bit when trying to use it on a rubber backed coir mat, so was not surprised when it failed. Many of the reviewers have mentioned the slow cutting speed, to a certain extent that can be a good thing as haste often leads to (costly) mistakes. I have also used the cutter on plastic and thin rubber matting, as well as on cardboard and it worked well. I think that the accuracy of the cut on the carpet probably justified the expense of the tool, and was cheaper than getting a carpet fitter out ... and I now have something in my tool-kit for the future.
