I bought this simple auto water timer as it is used to top up a Koi pond. we have other more complicated timers but this Hozelock aqua is ideal it has only a few simple controls and so far it has worked perfectly. The unit is well made and the water tight seals are working given we have rain almost every other day here in Liverpool. If you need to use an auto timer and have it come on once a day for a limited time this is perfect.

Unfortunately, I had to return this item because, although the switch sounded as though it was turning the water off at the end of the chosen period, the water continued to run. Water pressure is high in this area, so it may be related to this. There is, however, no maximum pressure specified in the product literature.

Also had a poor experience after less than 12 months usage. Water leaked into mechanism but after drying out it worked again. Thee months later water leaked into mechanism corroding everything and stopped working. Seal was definitely intact. A poor quality product.

What a great product - I am no DIY expert (as anyone who know me will tell you!) but I fitted this product very easily - no hassle, setting it up too was a breeze. Simplicity itself, I would highly recommend this product.

Very simple to install and operate. A cost effective choice for timed garden watering.
