The tape was cheap, and this definitely shows in build quality and design. For starters it feels like it might shake itself apart, when in use. Also the hooks for holding the tape on surfaces are incredibly sharp, caught skin a couple of times whilst winding back in, which wouldn't be so bad if the hooks stayed folded in. I would definitely look at spending a bit more next time, especially if all at this price are this shoddy in quality.

For the price this was a good value tape and it was delivered within a day or so. However I feel spending a little more, as I have before, on a tape does pay off in quality and smooth operation. I use this for EPC surveys and now carry it as a back-up / spare.
