Poor quality

I started using these tools just yesterday to remove the crank set to replace a bottom bracket. Within 5 minutes the crank puller tool broke (the head fell apart with the minimum amount of pressure). I will be writing to Amazon to see if I can get a replacement, or money back. Not sure how the other tools will fair, but I'm not expecting much ("pay cheap, pay twice" as they say). Don't buy if you hope to use these tools for more than one job. I'll give it 2 stars just because it was cheap to buy, otherwise 1 star.

bike fixy box

nice box of bikey tools. Mostly pressed metal but useful non the less. Could have done with a 15 mm ring spanner for taking off and putting on pedals but otherwise a useful addition to the tool shed. worth its weight in money as it saves you paying £12 to the local bike shop for every 15 minutes of mechanic time.

good value for money

Comprensive toolkit, but average quality

Being relatively new to cycling, I purchased this toolkit as a one-stop-shop for basic to intermediate bike maintanance. It also looked like excellent value for money. Unfortunately I have been less impressed by the quality of the tools in the kit. I managed to bend the chain link splitter at first use, although I am prepared to cincede that that may have been as much to do with my experience of working on a chain as with the tool itself. However, the metal spanners were also less hard than I would have hoped and I have also been able to bend/burr them far too easily. Other tools have been ok (so far anyway!) On balance I am still happy with the toolkit and its contents - however, the low cost is looking more like a false economy than I had initially hoped.

A mixed bag

I bought this and as soon as I opened it the small screwdriver was spinning in its handle, already broke. The next day after working on a chain, the chain tool broke. I think that is pretty poor performance for the first two days. However there are quite a few other tools here that could still warrant the purchase due to its current low price, depending on what you need. I would just like to point out to potential buyers that several tools seem to be of a fairly low quality. I would recommend buying quality individual bike tools if you have a serious job to do.
