Never had a glue gun before so nothing to compare it with. It glues most things realy well such that I keep looking for broken things to mend. Very satisfying!!

Firstly the glue this gun takes is a standard size so no one should have any problems sourcing it, its the larger of the two standard sizes. This gun is well made and heats up reasonably quickly. My previous glue gun broke because of a flimsy trigger mechanism but this feels very robust and i'm sure will last ages 100% recommend

I was very disapointed that this product did not come with any glue. Also I found it difficult to locate any locally, consequently it has been a waste of my time and money.

If like me you do some DIY then you will find that this glue gun will be very useful. It feels good, solid and well made. I have in the past bought the cheaper guns but they do not last that long and as I have said this feels well made. It has two heat settings low and high and with the correct glue stick this should cover any glue job you may come across. Last night my son came home from work with his bag which the leather strap had broken 10 minutes later and it was as good as new.

This is a well made glue gun that works well. I have used a glue gun previously, but never owned one. Now that I own the Stanley Glue Gun I realise that I should have bought one a long time ago! It's perfect for many DIY and craft projects. I use it mainly for my amateur radio hobby where I often need to join things, fix wires and cables in place or seal things - where this is especially useful. This is the ideal tool for all those jobs. Definitely recommended. Mike M0MTJ
