Needed a small torch that was powerful and reliable, this one fitted the bill. Camouflage design makes it a great gift for boys!

As a previous owner of many maglites, this one is a gem, megabright light output as well as different settings, the dim dip is ok, unsure if I will need the sos or flash mode though. Excellent quality but would maybe prefered it if it had a conventional light switch.

Great torch, robust, small, easy to transport in any pocket. Ideal for outdoor use due to great range and brightness. Nevertheless is inferior in brightness and battery durability than the led version.

I like this torch its nice to hold and turn on and off and makes a good amount of light. Only the box i dont like so much becuase its a bit big but that doesnt matter.

Initially I was going to convert my trusty Mini Maglite, that I have had a few years; however, I was concerned about losing the ability to focus the beam, then I noticed that it is cheaper to buy an LED equivalent Maglite. The new LED Maglite is slightly longer due to the different shape of reflector, otherwise, bar the colour, it is the same as the original. The light is crisp, white and very bright (do NOT shine into anyone's eyes!). There are four modes, which are obtained by turning the torch off and on quickly: Normal, Low Power, Flashing and SOS.
