We bought this blower to replace a monster larger which was too powerful for its and our own good it was too heavy and umwieldy beyond usefulness - a bad impulse buy - this Black & Decker 24Volt Battery model suits us better It is powerful enough for our small garden a much better buy.Found on Amazonwith good service ansd speedy response and delivery from Buckingham Nurseries

battery only lasts about 10-15mins though. A bit plasticy (if that bothers you). Doesn't have the oomph for wet leaves on the grass or mud though. Cordless very convenient. Overall good VFM.

Bought this to replace a 2-stroke petrol blower/vac. Too tedious to mix the 2-stroke and the vac just soaked through the collection bag when leaves were wet (as you'd expect in early winter). The cordless model doesn't vac but I didn't need it as it's just as easy to blow and collect by hand. Tried it out on bits and pieces around the garden and it is excellent. Very powerful for a cordless machine. relatively quick to charge (2hours was all it took). Worth every penny. I can now get rid of that can of dangerous and smelly petrol can

Have only used twice so far......... Not particularly good on damp leaves on grass, but very good on gravel on the footpath. Shall have to wait for a dry spell before before trying on leaves again. Light and easy to use, I am in my late 70's and need something easy to carry. It suits my purpose very well. Prefer battery operated garden equipment as I dont like trailing wires. The storms last week loosened a lot of the shingle at the front of the house. When the ground dried out the blower disposed of the mess very well. Would have given four stars had it not been for the failure to shift damp leaves.

A very useful item. It is fairly light and can be used easily anywhere it is required.
