Great cut

Replaced the smaller version that had plastic blades and grass box, much better option as cuts better and in less time! Only negative is the handle doesn't stay in the upright position, you have to bend over and manually 'clip' it in and that's a real pain, the older version just had a handle you lifted to keep it upright .........why such a bad change of design??

Very light and easy to use. No grass collection but this means that the weight remains the same and is always as easy to push. The metal blade is the better model.

Excellent buy and quick delivery

Excellent buy, we specifically wanted a blade cutter (having owned one in these series years ago) and not the useless plastic ones which snapped off too readily and always needing replacing. The Hover was delivered quickly and postage was included in the price. I believe Argos was selling exact item for about £15 more at the time.

OK for difficult places

I bought this Mower to cut grass on a difficult steep slope with irregular edges. I found that I needed to pass the Mower several times over the same spot before it got the long stalks cut. The outside footprint is much larger than the cutting surface so it leaves uncut bits around obstacles and edges. It doesn't float as well as I thought it would on steep slopes and it feels quite hard to push around as a result. It also makes more noise than my regular petrol powered 5HP mower. On the up side its a lot easier to use on difficult surfaces than a regular Mower (too dangerous and hard work) or my petrol powered Strimmer (too slow and get covered in flying grass bits). The metal blade is able to deal with the odd tree roots and small rocks without breaking. So I give it a three star score. Its not bad for what I use it for and certainly saves me time.

Does the job intended as we bought it for steep banks and inaccessible places. A bit whiney and could do with a slightly longer lead. Good value for money and gives a good cut
